Fred Morris served in the United States Army for 27 years, served three tours in Iraq, and retired as the Command Sergeant Major of the 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment.
He brings to the classroom his extensive experience teaching people how to safely and accurately shoot pistols, a personal appreciation for why you want to carry a concealed firearm, and his unique approach to helping you understand the practical application of North Carolina law.
He has a degree in Criminal Justice, he has worked as a Private Investigator in Virginia and North Carolina, he is an NRA certified Pistol Instructor and a certified Range Safety Officer, and he is currently an independent contractor for companies that support the Department of Defense.

Many of Mr. Morris' students have never fired a pistol prior to attending his concealed carry class, yet by the end of the day they have the skills and confidence to qualify on the live fire range.
